Boerne is a quaint and thriving community of about 8000 on the southern edge of the scenic Texas Hill Country, about 30 miles northwest of San Antonio. It is an inspiring and aesthetically pleasing place. Chalky limestone bluffs, verdant oaks and juniper, golden grasslands, and robin’s egg blue skies characterize the land. The wildlife is abundant and ever-present. There is a burgeoning collection of wineries (think Napa Valley in the 1950’s) and a tremendous selection of fine restaurants. There are great golf courses and ample opportunity to enjoy the area’s lakes and rivers.

Charles and Tami Kegley live and work on seven acres with two studio spaces. After 20 years of bundling all the necessities of a growing business in the nooks and crannies of co-opted space in their home, having a dedicated workspace is a luxury not lost on these artists.

The Kegleys see their clients by appointment and at occasional “open studio” events that feature their work, and sometimes the work of visiting artists.
